Our Motivation

LIV by WellNow came from our passion for breaking down barriers to healthcare access. Every day we see first-hand the hold-ups, frustrations and challenges our patients must overcome to receive care.

We realized that virtual care could solve many of the issues our patients deal with every day, and our medical providers have the dedication and passion to be with them throughout the entire treatment process.

Now, all we need is you. 

Dr. Robert Biernbaum, DO 

A graduate from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Biernbaum has a diverse history in the healthcare system. He has served as an Emergency Medicine Chief of Service, Chief Medical Information Officer, Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for a variety of hospital and medical care networks. 
In 2021 Dr. Biernbaum joined the WellNow team, excited to provide high-quality, accessible and efficient healthcare to communities.  
In his free time, Dr. Biernbaum can be found traveling with his wife, spending time with his children and grandchildren, reading or training in martial arts. 

Kellen Kreger, PA-C 

Kellen began his career in the emergency room in 2007, working as a physician assistant. After seven rewarding years in the ER, he transitioned to working with WellNow in the urgent care field. 
He soon took over the telemedicine department as the lead provider and eventually assumed the role of lead medical provider for three physical locations as well. Kreger then moved on to become the director of telemedicine, paving the way to LIV by WellNow and the new virtual care services that bring patients the treatment they need — on their timeline. 
When he’s not redefining telehealth, Kellen enjoys playing video games, working out and attending his sons’ basketball games with his wife.
